All of the Silver I use to create each piece has been reclaimed from items such as Medical and Industrial Machinery in the US. The chains that accompany each pendant are manufactured in a factory dating back to the 19th century in Shropshire, England. They are created using locally reclaimed materials such as Silverware and antique Cutlery. Building a Mine Free company is really important to me.

Fine silver is pure silver, 99.9% silver. Fine silver has a brighter aesthetic and does not tarnish. Sterling silver is a silver alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Due to this composition it will tarnish when exposed to moisture, certain chemicals, and strong light. When tarnishing occurs, it is easy to clean with regular household items to bring it back to the state in which you bought it

There are many easy ways to clean Silver jewelry to return it to its former shine. For crocheted Silver items, they can be cleaned in the same ways as any other Silver jewelry. For best results, I would submerge in warm water with a drop of mild dishsoap. After 10 minutes, take a soft bristled toothbrush and gently brush the remaining tarnished parts, rinsing in water afterwards to remove any remaining dish soap. Once the piece has been rinsed, dry well. While Fine Silver will not tarnish, if it should get dirty, follow the above instructions to clean.

If, when you receive your jewelry, you are not absolutely in love with it, get in touch and I will be happy to exchange it, refund it, or make a custom piece more suitable. Returns within 30 days, in original condition and packaging, will receive a full no questions asked refund. After 30 days, I'll be happy to discuss an exchange or refund for store credit.

Every Twisted Fern piece is hand crafted from hand picked, high quality materials. Each design is tested for strength and durability as well as comfort. With designs from The Silver Lace Collection (and any other piece upon request), a certificate of authenticity is included, this will identify the unique design, name of the piece, as well as the date and location of production. I personally sign each certificate so you can be sure I have put my all into each piece's production. If for any reason, and at any point, your Twisted Fern piece no longer feels comfortable, seems out of place, or breaks, get in touch and I will be happy to replace or repair the piece.
